The problem
Mail arrives faster than anyone reads it. The important message sits three screens down, under a receipt, a newsletter and a calendar invite. By the time you find it you have read forty things you did not need to.
What it is
Cusentra Mail connects to the Gmail you already use. It syncs in the background, sorts by rules you describe in your own words, and has a summary and a draft reply waiting when you open a message. Nothing it writes is sent until you send it.
Categories and detections run without a model, so they are instant, free and the same every time.
Drafts are learned from your own sent mail. Your name and sign-off come from your profile.
Every draft waits for you. Cusentra Mail never sends an email until you press Send.
Is this you?
You open the same mailbox forty times a day and still miss things.
You write the same three replies over and over, in slightly different words.
You want the sorting to follow your rules, not a provider's idea of a tab.
You are not willing to let software send mail as you.
Features
Less time in your inbox, without giving up control of it.
Every message is summarised to what you actually have to know — and on Pro, with context from everything that sender wrote before.
It learns your style from your sent mail, then drafts in it. Your name and sign-off come from your profile, never invented.
"Anything from my accountant is Finance." Categories and detections are yours, and they run without a model — instant and free.
Ask what's on your plate, what someone last said, or what you promised. It answers from your mail, and most answers cost nothing.
Mark what you're waiting on and what you promised. Nothing is guessed at you — if you didn't set it, it isn't chasing you.
Have drafts prepared while you're away, posted to Slack, or saved as a note. Replies wait in a queue until you tick and send.
What arrived, what you did, what's still open — built for one local day and saved or emailed to you each evening.
Notion, Google Docs, OneNote, Slack, Teams, Discord and Google Calendar — connected only where you switch them on.
Filters like from: and has:attachment, plus full message text searched through your own mailbox.
How it works
Sign up, then paste one Google app password. It's checked live before your account is created, so you know straight away that it works.
Your mail syncs in the background and keeps itself current. The first pass takes a few minutes; after that, new mail appears on its own.
Summaries and drafts are offered, never acted on. No email is sent without your approval — no automatic sends, ever.
Privacy
Subjects, bodies and the text of the search index are encrypted with a key of your own, wrapped by a master key that never sits in the database.
Every AI feature reads your consent first. Turn it off and the app keeps working — the rules, search and mailbox don't need a model.
Download a copy of your data, or erase your account and its mail for good. Retention is a setting, not a promise.
Drafts wait for you. Automations can prepare and post to your own tools, but they never send mail on your behalf.

FAQ
No — Gmail only, for now. The sync is built on Gmail's own IMAP extensions, so another provider would connect and then sync nothing. If you are not on Gmail, tell us on the sign-up page and we will let you know when your provider is supported.
An app password is a mailbox credential you create and can revoke at any time from your Google account, without touching anything else you use Google for. It is checked live before your account is created, so a wrong one cannot get you halfway through sign-up.
No. Drafts and automations stop at a review queue. You tick what you want and press Send yourself — no email is sent without your approval. It is the promise the whole design is built around.
Yes. Every AI feature reads your consent first, and turning it off leaves a working mail client: the categories, detections, search, labels and the mailbox itself never call a model.
Subjects, bodies and the text of the search index are encrypted at rest with a key of your own, on servers in the EU. You can download a copy of your data, and erasing your account deletes its mail for good. How long mail bodies are kept is a setting you control.
That feature pauses until the weekly reset, and the rest of the app carries on. You are never charged beyond your plan, and reading your mail is never metered at all.
Connect the Gmail you already use. You can erase everything on your way out.
