How to get a Google app password (about 2 minutes)

Open Google Account → Security and make sure 2-Step Verification is on. App passwords need it.
Open App passwords, signed in as the same Google account as the address above — an app password only works for the account that made it.
Type a name such as Cusentra Mail and press Create.
Copy the 16-character password Google shows (spaces don't matter) and paste it into the app-password field.

By clicking Verify and create account you confirm you are 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live, if that is higher), agree to our Terms of Service and Refund Policy, agree that we keep your app password encrypted and use it only to read and send your mail, and confirm you have read our Privacy Policy.
